HIGHLIGHTS

PORTO CORALLO: a pleasant stop-over if, after leaving Villasimius, you feel the need to take some rest before cruising up the Ogliastra coast.

ARBATAX: the first port in the beautiful coast of Ogliastra, the most imposing and wild in Sardinia rich in ravines postcard as Goloritzé Cala, Cala Luna and Sisine, the Grotta del Bue Marino. The port is located in the village. Please visit Red Rocks, dramatic cliffs of red porphyry which each year attract tourists from all over the world, just a few minutes walk away.

SANTA MARIA NAVARRESE: not far from Arbatax, is the starting point for the discovery of the Gulf ogliastrino. Since June 2005, the local Marina di Baunei was equipped with the "Pequod", a lift that provides access to board boats to people with disabilities, making it the "first accessible port" of Sardinia. On the ground, a walk in the country will dive in the friendliness, the Mediterranean and the famous local gastronomic delights.

PORTO OTTIOLU: After the dive ogliastrino enchantment, and its sheer cliffs, the landscape stretches the beautiful bay of Porto Ottiolu, famous for its beaches, delicious local produce and lively nightlife, ideal complement to the navigation.

SINISCOLA: From the dunes of Capo Comino, the beach of Berchida to the village of the fishermen of Saint Lucia, the surrounding area is full of attractions. A wide choice of excursions in the interior that allow you to enjoy a varied territory untouched. Together with the nearby town of San Teodoro and Budoni offer the significant advantage of a less boat traffic than the northern coast, which allows you to enjoy the natural wealth of the area.

OLBIA: Town in high growth, with an international airport connected to the main European cities, Olbia is the hub between the east and the north. Carloforte Sail Charter provides a convenient landing in the modern Marina di Olbia. It's up to you to choose the route. Whatever will be, will still unforgettable off-season.

EMERALD COAST: Exceeded Porto Rotondo and Marina di Portisco, opens the famous Costa Smeralda, renowned throughout the world as a favorite destination for the international jet set. The area, about twenty kilometers included in the municipality of Arzachena, is full of coves and small beaches are within a few miles of the islands Soffi, Mortorio, Mortoriotto, Bisce and the Maddalena archipelago, which makes the area navigable intriguing but also full of shoals and reefs that pay the utmost attention.

CANNIGIONE: Cannigione, with a large and well-equipped marina, has always been the natural harbor of the town of Arzachena. Its bay is an ideal location for sailing regattas

PALAU: beaches, alternating with stretches of granite, lead to the town of Palau, gateway to the archipelago of La Maddalena and Corsica. The surrounding area is littered with beaches, nestled in the lush and fragrant maquis. Near the town is the rock of the Bear, a granite hill 122 meters shaped by weathering, famous for his bear form and is visited every year by thousands of people

ARCHIPELAGO OF THE MAGDALENE: Trait d'union between Sardinia and Corsica, the archipelago is known for its unspoiled beauty. Access to neighboring islands and seas is entirely bound by the Regulation of the homonymous park (www.lamaddalenapark.it) established in 1994 to protect the area. The archipelago has rugged coastline and reefs that require great care in navigation, equal to the intense traffic of boats. Its main town is La Maddalena, which began as a fishing village and more recently linked to the activity of the base NATO military Santo Stefano, abandoned in 2008.

CAPRERA: Among a lot of nature, something must be back in the national history. Also included in this park of La Maddalena, and connected to the mainland by a small bridge, the island of Caprera is known to have been chosen as their retreat by Giuseppe Garibaldi, who died there in 1882. Of granite has many forests, mainly pine forests, and coastlines with sandy coves alternating with cliffs overlooking the sea

WEATHER:
The climate is typically Mediterranean, with rare rains. The entire southern coast is also open to second and third quadrant winds, but north-westerly and western winds are also quite frequent and, when they are particularly strong, they result in challenging sailing conditions, recommended to expert sailors only.
